It is essential to make sure that the space is large enough to facilitate development. The next thing to do is to know exactly what the goal of the new fitout is. What is the fitout for? For example, will you be increasing the number of employees in the office, or will the fitout be used to support the branding of the business? Will it be to boost work productivity or is it to motivate the workforce with the new environment? Knowing the answers to these questions will help you and your contractor decide on the requirements for your new office fitout, ensuring that you do not miss out on anything important.


You can list down the number of employees who will be stationed in the new office, and then include on your list the things that they completely need in order to perform their tasks. There would be employees having different needs based on their positions, so one has to be very thorough in his assessment in order to plan a workable fitout. Once everything has already been considered, what comes next is measurements and defining the size of the new office space.
